World-renowned country music artist Keith Urban has partnered with Yamaha to create the URBAN Guitar, a complete beginner's guitar package designed to make learning to play fun and accessible. The bundle includes the KUA100 acoustic guitar in Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish, URBAN-branded picks (set of 3) and strap, and access to the URBAN Guitar interactive lessons app featuring 14 songs personally curated by Keith Urban — including modern hits, timeless classics, and Keith's own songs.
The URBAN Guitar by Yamaha features a concert cutaway body crafted from laminated spruce on top with local tonewood (Meranti or Agathis) back and sides. With a 25" (634mm) scale length and specially lowered string tension, the strings sit closer to the fretboard so chord formation is easier on the fingers and players can sustain longer practice sessions. The slim neck sports a matte finish to prevent hand friction and allow smoother movement along the fingerboard. The Indian Rosewood fingerboard has a 15-3/4" radius, a urea nut at 1-11/16" width, phosphor-coated bronze light-gauge strings, and covered chrome tuners. Total guitar length is 40-3/16" (1021mm). No electronics are included.
The companion URBAN Guitar app combines Keith Urban's guitar expertise with interactive technology, guiding beginners step by step through a curated song library that makes learning feel rewarding right from the first session.
