The unit includes Clean Tank Technology designed to help protect the tank from mold and mildew buildup. A demineralization cartridge is included, which should be replaced every 30-40 tank fillings or when white dust appears around the humidifier. The essential oil tray allows for aromatherapy use with the included essential oil pads.
