The formula features CeraVe's patented MVE technology for all-day hydration, delivering a steady stream of moisturizing ingredients throughout the day. It contains three essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II) that help restore and maintain the skin's natural protective barrier, along with hyaluronic acid to retain moisture and create a smooth, plump texture. Niacinamide is included to calm the skin and reduce water loss.
Sun protection comes from a hybrid formula combining chemical and mineral filters: Homosalate (10%), Octinoxate (5%), Octocrylene (2%), and Zinc Oxide (6.3-8%). The InVisibleZinc Technology uses microfine zinc oxide that spreads easily and evenly without leaving a white cast or chalky residue.
This moisturizer is non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, oil-free, and allergy tested, making it suitable for all skin types including sensitive and oily skin. It is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation as an effective broad-spectrum sunscreen.
