The ION Audio Pathfinder 4 is a powerful portable Bluetooth speaker delivering 120 watts of peak output power through an 8-inch woofer and 3-inch tweeter. This weather-resistant speaker features IPX5 water resistance, making it safe to use outdoors even in splashing water or rain. The built-in 12V 7Ah sealed lead-acid battery provides up to 100 hours of playtime on a single charge, with a recharge time of up to 10 hours.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.0 with a range of up to 100 feet, FM radio with 16 presets across two bands, and a 3.5mm auxiliary input for wired connections. The speaker features a built-in wireless Qi charging pad on top for charging compatible smartphones without cables. A USB charging port provides additional device charging capability at 5V/1A.
The Pathfinder 4 includes customizable LED lighting with color cycle and beat-sync modes that react to music. The ION Sound XP mobile app enables control of audio settings, EQ adjustments, FM radio, lighting colors, and Bluetooth media playback. Two Pathfinder 4 speakers can be wirelessly linked together for true stereo sound using the dedicated Link button. The speaker includes adjustable bass and treble controls via the built-in encoder knob and EQ button.
Additional features include a built-in bottle opener on the rear panel, voice prompts for Bluetooth pairing status, and a sturdy handle for portability. The speaker measures 14.6 inches wide by 10.2 inches deep by 17.5 inches tall and weighs 22.9 pounds. Frequency response spans 65 Hz to 16 kHz.
