Built around a solid one-piece anodized aluminum housing, it combines premium build quality with exceptional portability — weighing just 1.5 lbs and small enough to carry in one hand or a small bag.
Sound is produced by two opposing drivers that face in opposite directions, working alongside dual passive bass radiators to move significantly more air for their size than typical transducers. The result is a balanced, detailed sound profile with a punchy high-bass response well-suited to music genres like EDM, hip-hop, and podcasts. The speaker plays true stereo audio without downmixing to mono. A built-in microphone enables hands-free speakerphone calls and voice assistant activation through a paired smartphone — compatible with both Siri and Google Assistant.
The Special Edition (SE) update over the standard SoundLink Mini II adds USB-C charging and a 20% increase in advertised battery life, rated at up to 12 hours of continuous playback. A power-saving auto-off feature activates after 30 minutes of inactivity. In the box: speaker, USB-A to USB-C cable (3.3 ft / 1 m), and user manual. Available in Triple Black and Luxe Silver. Note that this speaker does not carry a dust or water resistance rating.
